The middleweight sports bike market has a long-standing favourite, and it’s just received a serious upgrade. Kawasaki has officially announced the updated 2027 Ninja 650, sharpening its edge with key performance and technology enhancements while keeping the approachable, everyday usability that riders love.
Priced competitively at £7,499 RRP, the 2027 model takes significant strides forward in handling, stopping power, and rider connectivity.
The biggest mechanical news lies in the front end. Kawasaki has fitted the 2027 Ninja 650 with brand-new Showa upside-down (USD) front forks alongside revised rear suspension setup. This gives the machine superior front-end feel, increased stability through corners, and a more composed ride on road surfaces.
To match the suspension upgrades, the braking system gets a boost with new radial-mount 4-piston front brake calipers, delivering sharper initial bite and precise lever feedback when pulling up.
The cockpit receives a fresh update with a new 4.3-inch TFT colour display. Paired with enhanced Rideology smartphone connectivity, riders can now access turn-by-turn navigation and voice command functions directly through their headset and dash.
The 2027 model will be available in two distinct schemes:
Despite the performance and tech updates, the Ninja 650 stays true to its versatile core. Featuring a friendly 785mm seat height, manageable weight, and an intuitive electronics package, it remains one of the best choices for newer riders stepping up from smaller displacement bikes, as well as experienced commuters seeking a nimble, fun daily machine.
We are excited to welcome the new 2027 Ninja 650 to our showroom!
