The heart of the 698 Mono is the all-new 659cc Superquadro Mono single-cylinder engine, derived from the Panigale's V4 engine and currently the most powerful single-cylinder road engine in its segment, producing a thrilling 77.5 hp. This lightweight engine and chassis combination delivers an unparalleled fun-to-ride experience, perfectly suited to sharp cornering and exhilarating performance. The bike comes standard with a full electronic package to help manage this power, all governed by an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).


This premium RVE model is factory-equipped with the Ducati Quickshifter (DQS) Up/Down for seamless, clutchless gear changes. Safety and control are managed by the Cornering ABS, multi-level Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), multi-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC), and four selectable Riding Modes (Sport, Road, Urban, and Wet). The electronics package also includes the unique Slide-by-Brake function, which assists in controlled rear-wheel drifting in the aggressive riding modes. All information is managed via the compact but clear 3.8-inch LCD display.
