The Arai Quantic Abstract is an ECE 22.06 sports-touring helmet with a super-fibre shell, an aerodynamic rear spoiler, and a VAS MAX vision visor.

Their first ECE 22.06 helmet, the Arai Quantic, is designed to be as protective as possible while improving rider comfort and aerodynamic performance. The outer shell features Arai's Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction (PB e-cLc), with a smooth, rounded shape that utilises Arai's Variable Axis System (VAS), which is for improved glance-off performance and better deflecting impact energy away from the helmet.

The Quantic boasts incredible aerodynamic performance thanks to the new fixed rear spoiler enhanced for touring use. The spoiler allows smooth airflow over the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting at top speeds to reduce rider fatigue. This spoiler is designed to break away upon impact, not impacting protective performance in an accident.

The helmet's revised ventilation features 12 air vents (6 intake, 6 exhaust) for complete face coverage and air circulation. The new 3D Arai logo duct on the forehead feeds air into two central intake points that function at low speeds and work in tandem with dual tear-duct air intake ports, twin brow vents and a 2-position sliding chin vent. The one-piece rear spoiler features a 3-way exhaust, two side vents with foam dams to reduce noise, and a neck exhaust.

A VAS MaxVision visor and Pinlock insert lens are included as standard with the helmet for better visibility in all seasons and types of riding. The removable brushed nylon interior offers maximum comfort while allowing air into two holes at the forehead and can accommodate a communication device seamlessly into its structure.

Additionally, the helmet's shell now flares 5mm on each side for a combined 10mm additional space around the base to make it easier to get the helmet on and off. The Emergency Release System (ERS) cheek pads allow for quick removal in the event of an accident. The Facial Contour System (FCS) offers better support and comfort to the lower jaw, and the double D retention system provides a secure fit.
